Qazwīnī's 13th-century cosmography — angels, constellations, seas, beasts, and marvels — travelled the Islamic world in translation. Here it is as illuminated manuscript in Ottoman Turkish (1553) and Persian (1565), and as a 19th-century Persian lithograph. The Ottoman manuscript also carries oedio's first complete AI transcription and translation — all 314 pages rendered into readable text and English, likely for the first time.
